A sport hall is usually a huge anonymous volume dominating its surroundings. This project represents an attempt to re-design the form of the sports hall, and to suggest a new architecture: a composition of fragmented forms that reflects the function of the building, its characteristics and its purpose.
The forms, the colors and the partly disharmonious openings on the facades create an atmosphere of joy, motion and youthfulness. Located on a High-School campus, it serves the students and the community. It is a pleasant place for meeting, playing, socializing and enhancing the connections among people in the neighborhood. It is architecture that pays tribute to the casual side of life in all its human aspects.
